Advent Jumping PDF Print E-mail

The first advent weekend was fixed as deadline for our last big event in waterwork in 2009. It was supposed to be an exceptional water-fun-day and it really turned out to be a great success for all participating… though the weather gods had their own heavy shower-show simultaneously! But tough water workers don’t care which direction the water is coming from, as long as it’s there and the water depth is right!

And so it was here and now: the whole open-air pool and surrounding leisure areas were reserved for our teams, because high, low and late season –nobody will doubt that- have finally passed by!

Only members of the waterworking group and their 4paws-partners had access today to play free water games to their hearts’ content! This had been our wish and we enjoyed it to the full. Jumping from the 1m springboard, sliding down the huge fun chute, or just swimming the 75m course together, everything was tried and passed with distinction.

For the dogs there was a hefty tasty advent meal afterwards, and the barbecue master didn’t stop to satisfy the humans as well…not just to keep or gain warmth ( with 8° C it wasn’t the warmest of days!), but to withstand today and build a basis for further spontaneous action days!

Fun events  like that aren’t only a well-deserved  present for the dogs and a fantastic variation in every- day-water-exercises, but furthermore brought them an exciting night full of dreams, Bryana at least  seemed to sleep so deeply and contentedly, that in the evening we could hear it in any room of the house: a wonderful  appreciative snore, taken over by a joyful squeal or just an infinite deep breathing!
